Failure (and progress)

171) Ludwig, and so too Maximin, have a way of turning their own complaints into a gifts for us all.

172) "Don't take the example of others as your guide" he says, "but nature!"

173) Should your invention (synthesis, dream) of an ideal state cause you grief when you don't think that you are in that state?

174) Can we categorize one night's progress or it's opposite as leading toward either success or failure? Is success progress? Is failure it's opposite?

175) Is everything indeed a lesson, or do we learn more when we experience some kind of failure? Take this phrase: "Oh, I was right, it happened as it was supposed to." Does that sound like progress?

176) Failure is opportunity. Failure begets strength.
