57 minutes spent with royalty

The kingz forest is as dark as usual, and in the night only the thieves visit. Me, I run with an imaginary friend and my progressively perverse ideas. The landscape twists and the wormhole invites. All the pain in my life becomes pleasure in the form of sweat and tears of joy.

So many improvements have been made to the kingz forest, a visitor may not even recognize her. The path is now wide enough for two wide people and three dogs. The old roots have been buried and the puddle spots filled. The sharp turns have been lessened or worse. Indeed, shortcuts are everywhere and god Himself shakes his head in disbelief.

The roads to and from the kingz forest have been paved and the houses that surround her have been rebuilt as well-lit castles with fancy occupants. Tonight the men leaned against their shiny new cars at her perimeter and talked to their women. The miles were easy. I ran both directions to be sure.
