Romance

She doesn't understand her own appeal and neither do I sometimes. But it's real and it's special. She knows she looks good. She knows she is fit and she's pretty agile. She's quick enough and tough enough. I know I haven't seen her at her toughest. She does not mind the cold, and while her appreciation of rain is more pedestrian, she does love the snow.

There's a little bickering, of course, but if you could get her to understand a few more philosophical concepts, that would go away. Each time we bicker, it is because we are both right and both stubborn. Logic eludes her at times, but she makes up for this with her superior instinct.

Regardless of this, her beauty is powerful. She can enjoy touch and attention as she sleeps. She'll smile and moan if she likes it, and she'll audibly protest when the attention is interrupted. This, despite her deep uninterrupted sleep. Her scent is intoxicating and wonderful, like an exotic flower or potent spice. Her rhythm agrees with mine and her surroundings.

  1. As with anything in this world, you have to roll the dice on the danger to enjoy the pleasures that are possible. Probably dangerous, certainly inspiring.
